Emmy award winning composer Emil Adler, Award-winning writer Julie Flanders (ACDA Genesis Award) and transcendent lead vocalist Marina Belica are internationally acclaimed recording artists and producers who collaborate in the creation of musical recordings and events.

Debuting during the 2021 Chorus America National Conference, a new choral recording of The Book of Rounds: 21 Songs of Grace, a rapturous song cycle of 21 musical rounds written by Flanders and Adler, arr. Keiji Ishiguri, features Chorus Austin and guest artists conducted by Ryan Heller. The group’s Virtual Choir of Joy, a song from this work that attracted 163 performers from 15 countries and a YouTube audience of over 100,000, is a 2021 Telly Award winner. Debuted virtually by Craig Hella Johnson and Conspirare on the eve of the 2021 ACDA National Conference, Flanders’ Genesis Prize-winning piece, Holding our Breath, written with Venezuelan composer Carlos Cordero, will debut live at the Kennedy Center in a 25th Anniversary tour-opening performance by the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra with the Exigence Vocal Ensemble and members of the Washington Chorus (dir. Eugene Robinson) in February of 2022.
In the world of film, Flanders’ award-winning animated short, based on her poem Doubts, has been an Official Selection at 22 film festivals and will appear as part of this year’s 15th Anniversary Berkshire International Film Festival.
Currently finishing an exciting pop-choral version of their worldwide hit Return To Me, October Project will release a new, highly-anticipated full-length album, The Ghost of Childhood, in 2022.
